I disagree w/ Cheers post #13. BA Arch. does not necessarily have fewer design studios than a 5 year BArch. It depends on the program. I know at least one BA Arch program that is a pre-professional degree that has 4 full years of studio courses. In fact, once you add the 2 years masters degree to that, you'll have 6 full years of design studios -- 2 MORE than a 5 year BArch program. I believe the BS Arch program at UCincinnati also has 4 full years of studio, and is currently rated one of the top programs in the nation. You really need to verify each and every program, as well as the school's resources and studios. They are vastly different.
