raphael....nice to "see" you again. I hope your son is getting off to a great start in NYC and when classes begin tomorrow!

I'm glad you gave that anecdote. As someone who deals with college admissions as my job, I can say that for schools that offer both ED and RD, the rule of thumb is that the chances for FA are better in the RD round. In this case, NYU even told you so. AND both your son and my D are getting very good aid and were accepted in the RD round even though it was their top choice for years. So, I hope Tamar understands this first hand information.

Hey, if you talk to your son this afternoon, tell him that at 7 PM at Gould Plaza in front of Stern on W. 4th, that the NYU N'Harmonics (the award winning coed a capella group at NYU that my D is in and is also the musical director of and writes many of their arrangements) will be performing (free) and alternating songs with the BROADWAY CAST OF SPRING AWAKENING in the performance. He may not know about it and may enjoy it. Auditions for new members are coming up if he is interested.
