i'm not considering this that seriously, but just thought i'd ask. this would work if i study a bit and pass the 18.03 ASE during IAP(i've taken diffeqs before).

pros - i can get on to more interesting stuff in applied math (i'm probably doing 18C or 18-2)

cons - i might survive, and even get a good grade, but might not get a full appreciation for the subject. ---but then again, i'd have the prereqs like everyone else taking it
