I haven't started my essay yet but have thought of two topics that I could use...so any advice to the following?

-Being an only child --- how it made me the independent person I am

-A teacher I had during my sophomore year who bruised my ego and the long term effect that came with it

It's still in the air so I'd like to hear a couple opinions. Thanks in advanced!
