each verbal/math part is taken separately. so people with unbalanced scores like 800 math 680 verbal or 800 verbal 680 math skew the data to make it seem like 25% scored AT or ABOVE 1560. In reality, if you work out the data (i've tried some experiments lol) it's more like 25% scored at or above 1530-40 combined.
