| I am currently at Oberlin's parents weekend. One of the events tomorrow afternoon is a Q&A session with the Dean of the Conservatory. I can ask him when the live audition notifications go out if you like.
If your friend wants to stay at the Oberlin Inn which is the only hotel within walking distance of the Conservatory, I recommend making reservations immediately and canceling them if necessary. If they do not mind staying a 15-20 minute drive away, they will not have any trouble finding a place after getting the official word. That does not help with plane tickets, if needed, but at least they will have a place to stay. |
