Your certainly allowed to send in extra material, though i'd stick a few caveats on that. Keep any extra materials to an absolute minimum, i've personally heard an admissions officer say they tend to hold applicants who send just way too much extra material in a negative light. If you send a single cartoon i'd advise trying to send in with another part of your application, (like an actual hard copy of the app if ur applying via paper or your secondary school report) this way it is more likely to make it to ur folder. Also note, that whatever u send must fit into a manila folder most of the time. Often CD's or bulky supplements won't fit and thus won't make it into your file.
