Actually, I did the LEAD program at Wharton in 2006 and I think it really helped me get into Wharton. Out of my class of 30, 15 are at Penn, 3 at Harvard, 3 at Yale, 2 at Princeton, and 1 at Stanford. I would highly recommend the program, you not only get to know the school really well (which will show in admissions essays) but you will get to see if you would like to go to school here or not.
