this is something that i've never been exposed to, in schools or in prep guides. (ethnic groups and the diversity thereof).

it's entirely possible that there could have been another ethnic group (out of the many) that could have taken over a particular country (seems like most countries had various ethnic groups). one must wonder... why one rather than another?
