Not so much easier, its about the same. Each one of these schools has their on preferences and quirks. Totally depends what type of applicant you are. I've seen Penn is easier ED than RD by a wide margin and gets tons of NYC apps. If you are a RD Penn app from the Tri-state area its incredibly difficult. On the other hand if you are an ED applicant from Georgia for example, its going to be very difficult, but less difficult.
