University of Missouri: Mizzou Heritage Scholarship (for nonresident children of alumni; gives him in-state tuition)
Ohio University (also OOS): Gateway Scholarship, Gateway Trustee Award, and Residence Hall-Dining Discount, totaling $9,250.
Ohio U has excellent merit aid based on GPA and SATs. (My S just missed the nonresident tuition waiver by 10 points.)
He wouldn't be able to use some of this money because it will be canceled out by his DC Tuition Assistance Grant, but I wanted to post the results so others could see the possibilities available for OOS students at state schools. |
