CMU is a private university and they are bound by the deciesion date determined for all of their departments. No decisions at all came out last year until March 30-April 1 and some had to wait another 2 weeks after that for the decision to be officialy posted. I do know that Gary and Barbara did call the kids who got in before it was officially posted but not before the end of March. Hope this helps
