| Deferred students: my son was deferred ED a year ago and then waitlisted. But he was then accepted off the waitlist and is as happy as can be at Brown. In between the deferral and acceptance he worked very hard on his other applications but kept in touch with the admissions office at Brown. He sent updates about his classes and EC's, sent an additional writing sample, and stated each time that Brown was his first choice and would attend if admitted. Obviously, they can't admit all who are in this situation, but if Brown is your first choice do all you can to remind them of your interest. |
