A few years ago I switched over to Berndes cookware, a German brand with great design, reliability, quality and exceptional heat distribution.
Amazon.com: Berndes: All Berndes, Skillets, Sauté Pans, Lids, Saucepans, Specialty Cookware, Grill Pans & More . Look for the Signocast and Tradition lines. I am not familiar with the tricion line. It's expensive, but top quality. Their dutch oven and spaghetti cooker are my favorites. The easy clean-up is a big plus!
