| If you are auditioning for Music Theatre, we only require one 90 second monologue. (We are also considering the presentation of your two songs as an opportunity to see your acting.)
Most students prefer monologues from contemporary plays so I suggest that you start there. We like to see you perform a piece that YOU like and feel comfortable with. Choose a monologue and a character that you can connect with and show us that connection. Take us on your journey through the story of the piece with you.
This process isn't about us and what we want to see...it's about you and what you want to show us. Try your best to view this as just another opportunity to do what you love - perform. |
