| I know the Clemson website has a table that shows the credit awarded for each course (the page is down right now). I came in with 32 hours of credit (7 AP classes), and I am on track to graduate in 3 years. Although you have a lot of credits, graduating in less than three years will be difficult because of the major requirements. If I had any more AP credits, it would not have mattered because there are many required courses that aren't available through AP. For example, engineers have to take x amount of semesters in general engineering class before they can go one to fulfill their major requirements. These classes are usually pre-requisites to the higher level classes, so regardless of credit, x amount of semester must be taken before any of the higher level classes can be taken. It will take you shorter because you have completed electives and general college requirements, but doing it in two years would be difficult. I would try to talk to an adviser in your college to see what they say about your situation. |
