This is really awful:

YouTube - Hillary-Making Our Dreams Come True- Read "About this Video"

I'm also put off by the new Barack video by william (with added punctuation). I loved the first one, but the chanting in this one is a bit creepy. Are the people in it famous singers and actors? I don't recognize any of them.

Oh my god, poor Hillary -- I strongly suspect that video was actually made by a Clinton hater not a Clinton supporter.

I am not given to messianic visions of what politicians in democracies can accomplish, so the YouTube video phenomenon kinds hits me the wrong way across the board. But the fact is there is an upwelling carrying Obama rapidly toward the nomination and I think the most important reason for this was quoted right above and ironically is from a Clinton:

And Bill Clinton commented on this kind of fear-mongering in 2004:

"Now one of Clinton’s laws of politics is this: If one candidate’s trying to scare you and the other one’s trying to get you to think, if one candidate’s appealing to your fears and the other one’s appealing to your hopes, you better vote for the person who wants you to think and hope."
Awhile ago, I thought the Clinton/Obama divide might be a contest of (perceived) gravitas against ability to inspire. With each passing day, though, I hear Obama's intelligence (and growth) and the way he says things and I'd have to say he seems to be growing into his role as candidate -- and I hope as future president.

I really like the YouTube video, This One's for the Girls/Why I'm voting for Hillary-- I think that's what it's called. Nicely done.
I saw Paul Begala (I think it was) talking about how HRC's campaign really missed a chance to tell the story of who she really is. Graduated from law school, skipped a chance at joining a corporate law practice and became a child advocate, etc. I have a lot of respect for HRC, but she's just got too much baggage and I just don't think she'd win against McCain.
