| vi1, It is OK to feel disappointed when a decision from a particular college is not as you had hoped. It is more than OK to feel that way. The best thing, however, is to sleep on it and have your down moment and then just move forward because honestly, you have some other great options here and trust me, NEXT year at this time, you are gonna be a happy camper at college and all this angst and stress over where you got in or did not get in, will be past and a distant memory and won't hold so much importance in your mind any longer. The good news is that you have some really positive offers on your table. I hope you can go through a day of disappointment and then just start fresh and look at what you DO have. I know my kids did within hours of a rejection and just moved forward and knew that it was not meant to be at that particular school and eventually things worked out for them and they are happy. So, it is ok to be heartbroken. But if you can brush that aside after a little "down" time, you'll do fine. Life is full of disappointments and you grow stronger with each one and luckily for you, there are so many bright aspects to your college choices and days ahead. Sleep on it all....this is the climax but the transition will get you to the next level and it is gonna be a happy one, I feel certain.
