San Jacinto has this weird rate increase of 28% (or something) over what the regular going rate of a double room. That comes around to $2000ish more than the 7800ish rate for a regular room. The same increase applies to Duren. San Jac and Duren are the two hottest dorms on campus, simply because they are the newest and have private baths. You better get your app in ASAP if you want in. If you don't, however, DHFS sometimes lets you change your room if you pester the hell out of them before school starts in the fall.
I stayed in Duren for the summer - I actually liked the high beds lol, so I guess that wasn't a problem for me. and the ceilings are pretty awesome too lol
