^^^I read the EXACT same thing in Acing the College Admissions Process (or whatever it's called) by this ex-Dartmouth admissions director. I did an activity list (like the woman in the book strongly recommended) with the same activities and a few extras that wouldn't fit/seemed awkward in the common app spot (like my internship) and gave short to medium long descriptions of my role in each.
