Freelance, congrats to your D on getting into Tisch. From our experience, it is fairly common for kids who do not get into CAP21 to be placed in PH. My suggestion is to compare the curriculum at each and see how they differ, then compare PH's to that of the other programs which have made an offer of acceptance to your D. That way you'll have some idea if she feels as though she would be missing out on any particular area.

Keep in mind that these lists are only the studio classes. The classes they take on the other two days of the week would be the same.

PH is a great studio, especially for kids who have not had the opportunity to study/experience other aspects of theatre. Kids who have gone to an arts h/s might find these things unnecessary but for kids who haven't, there's a wealth of knowledge to be gained. Good luck to her in her decision-making!
