What a lively expression! Certainly it merits all of its vowels consonants. I work with students a bit too young to actually be focused on "prestige," but we do have some who are grade obsessed: They surge through the school week gobbling up top grades; anything less than a top grade is a death sentence. We call them the grade sharks. |
