Actually my mom and I bought one for my grandfather last year. lol
He was for the most part confined to a bed at a nursing home but still wanted to read the paper. His room was always to cold. he could keep his arms warm while reading something with a blanket wrapped around him, and his robe didn't keep his feet warm. He actually liked it too.
I woudln't get one for myself though. I think that wearing a sweater and grabbing a blanket are enough for me.
