Dad is not completely off base...and my D is at Newhouse....didn't realize you were in Fla....
I think being male is a plus, GPA/ACT is ok....it will depend on essays....
other schools you are considering?
also, given that you didn't interview, I assume you didn't visit? really need to do that if you get in....
