I don't know anything about the MT program at Mars Hill but I am very familiar with the area. Mars Hill is located very near Asheville, NC. It's a fun town, not big and not small. There is so much to do there! It's artsy, historical and vibrant even in this economy. There are a lot of students in Asheville, (UNC Asheville). Asheville is home to many writers, artists and other craftspeople. The area is in the Blue Ridge mountains. The cost of living is comparatively low.
