Yeah taking >18 is pointless unless you want to graduate early, but still I do not think it is worth it. Will sacrifice personal time for studying if you go overboard. All the people I know taking 20+ credits are rarely ever seen or heard from (and when they do appear, they usually seem miserable and stressed out).
