so what do I do to bring up reading

I ended up getting a 29 on the reading part of the ACT [5 wrong in the first passage about Linda Rose, I didn't even understand the passage]

Are the Prose passages always that difficult

how should i attempt the prose passages/the overall ACT reading section (i didn't time myself so I may have gone over)

am I just doomed with Reading (i got a 720 in SAT reading)
