Agree with both, that it depends on the school and whether you're transferring as a jr or soph. However, I do think that for the more selective schools that require SATs, good standardized test scores can help to support a high gpa. In general, competition for grades will be tougher in 4 yr colleges than at CCs, so it is helpful to show strength in SAT scores as well. [Please no flames, my comment is not addressing individuals, but rather the strength of the cohorts as a whole; FWIW, I was a CCC tranfer to a UC]

For information on SAT requirements for those schools, go to the primary source, the college websites. If they ask for test scores, they are likely to use them to some degree.
