Where did you get the figure that the AVERAGE debt for an NYU student is $100K. I have NEVER seen that number.
But that doesn't matter. Say it's true...those kiddos had to have had cosigners for a significant amount of those loans. You (a student) can NOT get loans in that amount without a cosigner.
