No, if you file the FAFSA and CSS/Profile before the deadline, you will get the same aid regardless of when you submitted (as long as it is by the deadline). It is a good idea to start the forms well in advance of the deadline so if you need more information or if your computer crashes you will still be on time. If you haven't already, file NOW for a FAFSA PIN - it may take a few days to get it.
