I had to take part of the ACT for a Johns Hopkins CTY program I'm involved in. I only took the reading and English sections because I'm taking language courses. I got a 33. Is this good, considering my age (14 but I was 13 when I took the test)? I'm worried because it may go in my records or something and I don't want it to bring me down in the future. Thanks
I'm going to assume this is a troll. If it's not, learn to be a little less obnoxious in the future. Getting a 33 as an 7th grader is obviously exceptional. I ended up getting a 35 and I only got like a 25 as a 7th grader.
If you're for real and are smart enough to get that kind of score at that young of an age, you're smart enough to know how good of a score that it is and exactly how that comes across. Tone it down a little.
I'm not a troll. Sorry for seeming like a smart-a**, also- I guess I knew the score was good, I should have phrased the question differently. And believe me, if I had taken the math and science portions, I wouldn't seem exceptional at all.
^ haha. and my parents just told me that i got a 33, i didn't see the results myself so i'm assuming the percentiles were there. again, sorry for sounding obnoxious, i'm actually not. :P
33 on your ACT in 8th grade is great. Assuming you aren't a troll then you should be very proud of yourself. My son got a 29 composite, 31 in math, in 8th grade and in 11th grade received a 35 composite (35 in all subjects but science). You should have similiar results.
