No problem man Good luck!

I meant to post this link too. If you go over every problem, you will have seen just about every type of math problem ACT will throw at you. (Click on a date, then once you're at the problem, right click and press play. The dude who goes over the problems is really helpful.)

I got accepted to the College on Engineering and I am in-state. If you want to get in to engineering, I would say that you would need a 30 to give yourself a really good shot, though you could probably get in with a couple of points lower if the rest of your application is spotless. Engineering has a pretty high admission rate (around 65%?), mostly due to the fact that it is self-selecting, meaning only people with good stats even apply. Business has a much lower admission rate (around 50% I think), due to the fact that people with good and bad stats alike apply.

If your goal is just to get in to the University, a 23 or 24 minimum should at least get you into the Division of General Studies (which you are automatically considered for if you don't get in to the major of choice) assuming the rest of your app is solid. My best friend got into Kinesiology with a 25 and a 3.7 GPA and somewhat shaky EC's. It's really only difficult to get into the Business and Engineering colleges.

Thanks! I took the April ACT and hoping I got in the 30's to give myself a shot at the Business school. I have a 3.7 GPA a really good EC's so I hope a good essay and the fact that I am a legacy might help. I did hear that they look at the whole application for business since they don't take as many apps...not many kids apply from my school since it so far away. Often you are competing against kids at your own school to get in. A lot of kids apply to WI and MI from my school but not many apply to IL since it is hard to get to.
Thanks for your reply.
