I am applying to Carnegie Mellon, which is a pretty tough school.
I got a 29 composite
And today I found out I got an 8 on the essay, making my English and Writing combined go to a 27.
Do you know if this will factor in with the decision?
I was just thinking, that the school's website highlights their ranges for the ACT composite score, ACT English score (I don't know if that is combined or not), and ACT Math score, so they care about those 3 more than reading, science, or combined English/Writing. But, I may be wrong.
