I put colon, if they were independent clauses it wouldve been a semi colon but i dont think they were independent. It may have been different questions but i dont think the second portion of it was a sentence on its own.

what did you guys say for the revision of the sentence it was talking about the fossils? I said "unmistakable: perfectly round..." or whatever it was
