Is there a curve on the test? My friend managed to get a 33 on the science section even though he skipped 7 on the real act. In the book it says even if I miss 4 I'll end up with a 30?

I have 3 more sections left on my 5th practice test.

I've been averaging around 31-35 on English, 30-33 on Math, 27?!-34?! on Reading, and 29-31 on Science.

would anybody like to drop me some tips on how to do well on all of the sections? I do well in math(like 33 because of stupid mistakes) but I only get at the highest a 30 in english and science and a 26 in reading. I one of those readers that doesnt read too many books but when I do I take a while because I read slowly and absorb everything. Also, I get caught in all of the mumbo jumbo in the science and end up getting stressed and confused because I dont know what the some of the stuff is even though most of the time its irrelevant.

My goal is for a 33 to beat my cousin but anything above a 30 would be satisfying because I got a 26 last time. So do you guys have any tips?

Ps super nervous for this too because Im submitting this test to colleges since its the end of my junior year.

In science don't actually read the passages. Most of the questions say something like "According to table 2 __________" so just jump to table 2 to find the answer.

In responce to hapamrkeson:

Dude we seem to have the same goal but on all by tests I get around a 30-31 but I also faze out so much in other worrds get distracted a lot. I belevie I'll do better on the actual test since I focus a hell lot more not only that my SAT scores were all 80 points higher than the ones from the blue book so I am praying to god that I do good! It's the last time I am taking it as well :/

Just a quick question, is it okay to post a practice essay for feedback on this forum?
If so, is there a specific thread in which to post that?

Got a 32 on my final practice test, which is my goal score. Did super on the science (33!) and bad on Reading (30.)

Hi Everyone!

For those who have taken the ACT before, may you please describe the testing experience?

Does the essay come first such as in the SAT? Or last?
And then I assume it's english then math then reading then science, like how they order it in the prep books?

Do we get stretch breaks between each section?

Thanks! Best of luck to all of you!
