For the magnet one, because you are doubling the force and the square is inversely proportional, you would have 1/2^2. therefore, the distance for when the force is doubled will be 1/4th of the original force, 12. The answer was 3.

Ok, what was the answer you were trying to find for the nail one? The distance needed to double the force with an original distance of 12?

the taxi one was 8. It said that the taxi was 7 miles east and 3 miles south giving a coordinate at (7, -3) They then gave you unnecessary info about the route to get to the headquarters. you had to do the distance from origin to 7, -3 which is 7.61577 and you round to 8 because it said closest

@ValkyrieXT I think it will be very favorable. On the June test, I think that there is a larger amount of uhh.. low scorers. Which would make the curve a bit more favorable. I am expecting -1 = 36 ; -2 = 35.

@hotelrwanda it asked for the distance to the HQ, so the information was necessary.

yea it said that the taxi was 7 miles east and 3 miles south so you could assume origin.

the question said the force was inversely proportional to the square of the distance, so the original force was 12, so the force was 1/144, so the answer was 6rad2 because the inverse square of 6rad is 1/72
