On the dictionary passage I completely forgot the question but the answer choices were four people

shakespeare
wood
webster
cooper

I was running outta time and chose cooper. anyone remember the answer??

i thought the question about why the author gave so much detail about the guy from the prarie passage was to show that the work is dangerous, because it mentioned flame resistant apparel and stuff like that

What was the one with who "I" referred to in the first sentence?

The grandmother or the narrator?

And was one of the answers to that passage the great grandfather? It compared the white birds statement from 2 different times it showed up.

I debated between that and another choice, but eventually I chose the "prepared/experienced with his work" because it talked about him walking confidently with his apparel.

Yes, the cloudy water was the only one that wasn't used to describe the Hills.
It was tricky because it was used to describe the Yellow River in China, which also had the same sand as the Hills.

The one about what the grandmother thought she could do with a tattoo was something like 'sit in the sun for a longer time' or something weird like that.
The one about the Loess was something about loess-clouded water.
