Yeah, moonbeast, you were one of the lucky 90-some percent.
They do not post scores online from highest to lowest, and they do not prioritize scoring based on anything about you. They post scores from national test dates as soon as they get scored and matched up with your registration data, unless they are put on hold. Order of scoring is by arrival of the documents from the test center. Everyone gets matched up and posted online the first day unless their data doesn't match and someone has to fix it, or they are on hold.
If you still can't see your scores online, it means one of several things:
You owe money.
There was a testing irregularity that is still being investigated.
You made a mistake copying your matching information onto your answer sheet.
You put down the wrong test form or serial number.
You tested as a standby.
You WERE on hold for one of these reasons or some other trivial reason, and someone screwed up and didn't take you off hold.
If you are getting the "we don't have a record of you" message, you are probably entering the wrong SSN/ACT ID or date of birth, or else you didn't do "national" testing. If you don't think either of these are true, you really need to call them.
I would try calling the ACT records department to ask why you haven't gotten your scores in the mail at (319) 337-1313. I would ALSO try calling the registration department to ask why you can't see your scores online (I think they know more about that) at (319) 337-1270. If they won't tell you anything useful, at least confirm that you are using the same SSN and date of birth that they have on file.
And please report back anything you find out.
