| Anybody else's school that does not recognize the ACT? At my highschool NOBODY knows about the ACT, the counselors and teachers are all focused on the SAT. And it's assumed that if you make high, which at my school is 1200-1300, then your smart and you can definitely get into any school of choice, but if you score lower, than your assumed dumber. We have a SAT prep class but you can only take it if you can somehow fit it into your schedule, which is slightly impossible for me with band and AP classes. Other than that, there is no such thing as prep for the SAT or ACT at my school. Either your good at standerdized tests or not.
I really do not know what I would of done without CC. I'm studying intenstly for the upcoming ACT with the Red Book, PR, and Sparknotes online. I feel so much better realizing that you can actually practice these kind of tests and get better at them.
Now to my question, does anybody else's school totally overshadow the ACT? And do they even provide/suggest study material for the SAT,ACT,SATII? |
