I received the book today in the mail. 3 full practice tests and then 3 practice tests for each subject. Every problem has a full explanation in the back of the book. I will take the first test this weekend.

Wow, that seems really good. Pretty much 6 tests for each section.

yep..... but again, there's no advice... just practice questions. (I still think it's worth the price)

is it unanimous that the book is good or bad to help with the ACT? i don't want to spend the money and realize that it wasn't worth it ... but I'm considering buying the book today ...

i've had a bad experience with PR review tests but is this one good?

well i did the first two sections cause i was lazy and didn't want to do all 4.... but :
1. English (real 31) 27 (partly because probably mom's interrupting cause she's on the phone for half of the time). but it's a little bit harder than the real test.
2. Math (real 34) 34 math is my strong point..... but i seem to have a little less time on this test for some odd reason... harder???
So overall i think it's just slightly harder... caught a few typos... but other wise it's pretty good.

Took a couple of math tests and I have to say they have a lot of long word problems that take a while to read. A lot more long word problems than actual ACTs I've taken. But the material seemed pretty right on.

My daughter has the PR 2009 ACT book-just did an English test and said that there were mistakes. Has anyone else found this with Princeton? She has already taken the tests in the red book.

mmm ... in the 1296 it is better, but i agree, the PR 2009 book has some errors on the english portion. they underline the wrong thing taht wants to be corrected and what not. so, it is a bit off, but i think it might be decent prep. but the 1296 overall is better.

Just found an error earlier when taking a math test. In the question it says that some angle in the diagram is 43 degrees but in the diagram it is labeled 45 degrees.

Book seems pretty solid but look out for typos.
