The new PR 1296 ACT Question Book.
Anyone know how effective this book is I am thinking of buying it.

Well PR has a good rep with ACT prep. I didn't personally use it but a lot of my friends have and they, along with many people on CC, give it great reviews.

PR is pretty good. But the REAL ACT is most accurate

This is 1296 questions though. That is a lot of prep. I hope it is good stuff.

My son pre-ordered at Amazon and did the first practice test out of it. He found a few typos and said that it seems to be poorly edited. The test questions were similar to the Feb ACT questions and he's happy that he has some new material to cover in addition to the Red book, Barrons etc. He didn't score well on his first ACT and he's determined to score better next time. I sincerely hope that this book helps in this aspect.
