| Sept v. Oct. test
jkaplan -
I also took Sept.
How did you find the October test as compared to September?
I thought every section except Science was much easier.
Just my opinion

Compared to Sept I felt that English was about the same, maybe 1 question tougher...the math was very similar, reading was MUCH MUCH easier (prose fiction on the Sept test was impossible), Science I felt in Sept was very hard...this time I thought it was quite easy

they haven't been released but based on my breakdown I can give a decent approx...
English-around normal
Math-around normal
Reading-VERY HARSH
Science-VERY Generous (I guessed on the last 4, C for all, amongst rushing, and got a 31)

Mabs, I'm not sure. It's possible, but I don't think the curve was that generous. I got a 32 Math in September, and I'm praying that I get a 30+ here. Everybody said that the Sept. Math was soo hard and this one was so easy. No, the October ACT Math had little tricky questions that I unfortunately got fooled by.
Oh and jkaplan - I AGREE on the reading. I thought it was my best reading test by far and I came back with a 24. With how hard the reading was, I was expecting a nice curve. The reading looks to have the hardest curve as of late..

ya I'm not sure what to expect in terms of curves this time because I thought it was an overall easier test, especially science and reading while others feel that it was much harder, hopefully it was designed to be hard and I just beasted it lol

Anyone "tested" yet for October scores? I am still "Registered"...and the 10th is not too far away.
