Did you get a scholarship?

If you did, did they notify you after you completed FAFSA, or even before?

I was accepted through on-the-spot admissions at my high school. The counselor told me that she would recommend me for an academic merit scholarship, but couldn't tell me how much they would give me. I received my acceptance packet a week later, but the letter informed me that I was still being considered for a scholarship offer, and the offer would come in a few weeks. I'm currently waiting for that. Anything need-based would come after FAFSA, I'd imagine.

I was accepted and in the letter it said i qualified for a scholarship but it didn't tell me what it actually was..

I got accepted the day after Thanksgiving, and yesterday I was notified I got the Trustee scholarship.

I got a letter from them yesterday and I was awarded the deans scholarship award for 10k/yr. I never filled out the fafsa and they said you can still accept the scholarship even if you opt out of filling out the fafsa.

so far i was accepted into Fairfield U, Stonehill college, hofstra, and emmanuel college...I am still waiting for 6 more responses though.

Hey everyone!

I received a scholarship for 12,000 per year. 11,500 for academic records and 500 for extracurriculars.. ect. However, I did so much during my four years of high school... even published a paper for a scientific journal and I strongly believe that I should be receiving more than 500 a year. I e-mailed them asking if they can look over my application once more. I'm so disappointed and nervous about what to do. I'm really not happy with just 12,000 a year. Has anyone else received scholarship notifications?

I got 15,000 per year and only $500 for extra. also!! I was very disappointed, with the $500 because I did so much in high school, my one friend got $1000.
