Official Class of 2017 Results Thread

reeinazreeinaz Posts: 1,531Registered User Senior Member
Decisions are starting to come in! So it's time for an Official Class of 2017 Results thread.

Since there are relatively few members applying this year, go ahead and fill out the information section once (whatever data you feel comfortable providing), and you can then post decisions as they are announced. Future members can then match your results with the applicant information you provided.

Use this thread only for results. There is another thread for discussions.

    Congrats! Kuro!

    Deferred from Columbia
    SAT breakdown: 600M/680CR/660W
Subject tests: 630USH, 670 Lit (got a 4 on both of those AP's...don't know what happened)
GPA: 3.7UW (I know...low, but there was a drastic drop because I went through something serious last year. Explained that in my application)
    3.9 UW
Senior Year Courseload: AP French IV, AP English IV, AP Govt, AP European History, AP Biology.

Don't really feel like posting anything else but essays/letters of Rec/EC's are all pretty good.

Waiting on: UChicago, probably will apply to Cornell

Reflections: Only thing that makes me sad is that they called my counselor asking questions about me and my the grades of my last two grading periods because the committee was divided on whether or not to accept me. Oh well! Que Sera Sera. Will retake SATI's in January, and send in a MUCH higher GPA (3.9+ unweighted if my grades stay the same)
