Any students pursuing Journalism?

I'm really interested in the field, but i'm still not sure if its for me. Are there any students here hoping to pursue Journalism that can lend some wisdom on the topic?

I am. Well investigative reporting or medical research. What exactly do you want to know b/c I've been obsessed with journalism for the longest time. Actually my friend just got an internship at home news tribune.

I'm considering topics concerning international news or possibly scientific research, but I don't have a clear field just yet. I just want to know what your perspective is on the field and why do you want to pursue it. I know everyone has their own reasons, but hearing the perspective of someone who's really passionate about it would help a lot. Thanks ^_^

I am, but I want to become a PR specialist. Either I'll go into journalism or communications, depending on the school.
