Candidate Kit..

for the class of 2012, we get them this summer right? and really, thats when it all begins for us... am i correct in sayin this? we had Academy Day today.. one of my congressmen sponsors it; he gets cadets from around the state from all the academies (coast guard and merchant marine included) to come and speak, and just to hang out and ask questions for a couple hours.. it was great. so, i've filled out the pre-can questionnaire on the admissions website, it tells me i'm a prospect, and its given me a counselor and ALO w/ phone numbers.. so the next step is to wait for the candidate kit and start from there?

Much like a highschool counselor.

He/she is pretty much in charge of your profile.

And I guess when you're there, they are glad to talk to you and help you out with stuff.

If you have any questions about your profile, your counselor is a great resource.

Also, I think that they don't send you a candidate kit because everything is done online.
