The second kit ???

I have read some of your comments on the "second kit" but am still not sure I understand. My son accepted his appointment in mid-February, but he has still not received the "second kit." He called the Academy last week, and they said he probably wouldn't receive before the first of May. What is in this kit, and how important is it to have right away? Thanks.

p.s. - You know what they say about mothers, they worry too much. ( :

I remember seeing somebody post a link that had the appointee information online.

Couldn't find the post so I did a little of my own research ;]

I believe this is some if not all of what is found in the Appointee Kit. (or the "second kit" as you call it =])

That is the same link I had originally posted. It has the bulk of the information in the packet save a few documents. The only other things not online are life insurance forms and forms about the association of graduates. If you have the appointee booklet online that is all you really need. Good job on the research mateus . You were right on.

I knew I saw it somewhere before. Thanks for providing it in the first place Mitchell!

Thanks for the link. I'm not sure why we were not aware of it. Looks like lots of information to go over. Again, thanks so much for the help and for the reassurance that we are still on schedule.

Random question, but are any other 2011ers going to be flying from San Francisco to Colorado Springs on the 27th?

My D is. Leaves somewhere around 12:45 or so, if I remember right. Are you flying into SF and leaving from there? If so, you're probably on the same plane.

You can fly stright from SF into Colorado Srpings. Forgive me if I'm being nosy, but I'm just wondering. We always went through DIA from the Springs to SF and vice versa.

Wow, I think I will be on the same flight as your daughter, Mom! My plane departs from San Francisco at 12:41. I'm leaving Medford, Oregon at 5 am. From there I go to Portland, from Portland to San Francisco, and from there to Colorado Springs! I'm going to be in SF for about 3 hours, so if your daughter is going to be there for a while, we should meet up!
