How about a shirt with Cornholio on it (from Beavis and Butthead) that says "Are you threatening me?"

Wow, now THAT would be a t-shirt story for the ages. Or at least, the next four years until someone came up with something more original.

My brother went to Marine bootcamp with a mohawk, rolled up jeans, a white sweatshirt with a Great Britian flag, and red converse high tops. When he came running off the bus the DI's had a heyday with him for about 7 hours. They took him around and "introduced" him to every DI they could find. When they paraded him over to the chow hall every other recruit already had their hair cut and were wearing the issue gray sweatshirt and cammie bottoms. Well there's my brother (still in his aforementioned outfit) at the head of the 90 man mob and when they arrived at the chow hall the DI's yelled "get up here indian" (indian because of the mohawk) opened the door and kicked him in. The entire chow hall (about 500 recruits, cooks, and DI's) came to a halt like in a bar when the music screeches to a stop, and all the DI's swarmed him to let him know what a "freak" he was. That day was miserable but he is still in 23 years later and it makes for a great sea story. I asked him what they should wear and he said "pick one new appointee and make them a sacrificial lamb so you will all have stories for the rest of the year."

Every once in a while I see something in one of these threads that makes me cringe...this is one. Your I-day will be a special day and no outfit or haircut will be needed to enhance the moment. It will not be worth the punishment or trouble you will have to endure. I promise no matter how good you are the Cadre will find you and you will have your special time. You will appreciate that time being as short as possible.

How about a huge peace sign?

"Make love, not war!"

The cadre would have a field day with that

Invariably someone wears a "Train this!" t-shirt and gets the required special attention. I recall a couple of '06ers that showed up and at the footprints were turned around to face the '05ers who were coming out of class for I think it was Global Engagement or something. They all of course laughed their heads off.

Lol. If your into politics wear a shirt that says "BILL CLINTON FOR FIRST LADY". When report to I-day, someday in the near future, I will do what eagle said and wear like three shirts, and the first one will be this one:

BustedTees*-*Blimpin'*Ain't*Easy
or
T-Shirt Hell :: Shirts :: TALK NERDY TO ME

Question: Are hats allowed and what happens to your civilian clothes? Because I know that your not allowed to wear civies untill after Recognition.
