Last night

As we sit here with our son in the Drury Inn, it seems almost surreal that we are having an almost uneventful night. Our son is hanging out, eating Wheat Thins and cheese in a can, PepperidgeFarms cookies and peanut M and M's. He is frantically texting everyone in his phone book. Since this is round two for him, he is a medical turnback from last year, he is much more relaxed than last time. He has been trying to loosen up some of the other incoming soon-to-be basics that he has seen in the hotel. He asked me what I thought other appointees were doing on their last night. I told him I would post this and see what type of replies we get. So, here goes, how are you guys spending your last night?

I doubt you'll get many replies this late. Last year, my parents, some local family friends, and myself went out to Texas Roadhouse. We went back to the hotel, hung out, took it easy. I probably went to bed early, trying to be decently well-rested for the big day. I'd imagine that's a pretty typical story.

Any 2012ers still out there?

Well, as a fellow turnback, I've pretty much been on facebook and myspace saying goodbye to everyone. I have living without a cell phone, and a watch. I took the last hour to pack. But yeah, all in all it's been a regular day for me, just feel kind of bad I'm leaving some loved ones behind.

I don't feel as nervous as last year though!

Soaringhi tell him good luck and we are thinking about too. I am picking Potter up from her boyfriends in about 29 minutes and I'll tell her too. I know she is pulling for him, only too bad Mike couldn't be with you guys tomorrow would have been cool to get all of Eagle Eight through. Good Luck.
