I have a quick question...

I got into the summer seminar for USAFA, but chose not to go.

Before the app came out, my file was labeled as: "Competitive".

When the app came out, it said: "Candidate".
However, I have received two letters from USAFA within the past 1-2 months, with the second one coming yesterday, that says: "...you are currently not competitive for an appointment.....". Has anyone received this kind of letter? thanks

I'm not sure about your letter, sorry.

But for the people who don't have the rest of the application, what is your app status? Maybe it's because you're deemed not competitive at this point...??? That's the only reason I can think of.
